My Art and Thoughts
If ART is LIFE, and SEXUALITY is a part of LIFE, then SEXUALITY is a part of ART.
Conversation or controversy on the subject of sex in art are often not talking to each other today, they are talking past each other. We no longer share a single meaning system. What may be acceptable to one group can be profoundly offensive to another. This is a very common problem today. In fact, problems of political correctness are now becoming so complex as to make communication, in some cases, almost impossible. No matter what one does as an artist, he / she is going to upset somebody. And something that what might be pornographic to some art partakers may well be merely erotic to others.

"Had I not sinned what would there be for you to pardon.
My fate has given you the opportunity for mercy."

How beautiful it is to do nothing,
and then rest afterwards.

The omnipresent process of sex,
as it is woven into the whole texture of a man's or woman's body,
is the pattern of all the process of all our life.
We all have times of bad work, failures, mistakes.
But art is always our friend, and you don't drop a friend
because he or she made a mistake.
It is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; upwards of a thousand lies, was written and has been re-written by man for convenience, economics, to manipulate the ignorant and gulable, as many interpretations as there are stars in all directions, it has corrupted, disfigured, the healthy love , romance and sexual needs, beliefs and pleasures which are God's greatest gifts to man, and separate man from beast. They all call it THE book, but who's book.
In this sense it is not strange how little has been written on Love, Sex and Orgasm, as it is clear from Evolution that Sex and Survival are the two most fundamental forces driving our continued existence. What it does show is how our culture, our religious distortions, and our socially sequestered emotions have prevented us from writing honestly on this most profound subject. I would venture to say that it is almost impossible for a human to be completely happy or healthy if they are devoid of a meaningful sexual relationship. Further, evidence suggests that where sex is actively prohibited, as within certain religions, then the sexual urge, being so strong, tends to manifest in abusive ways that cause great harm to human society. (The sexual abuse of children by priests is an obvious example of this. )
Since contraception is against the church, then sex could and would lead to more children per family. Just as priests and nuns can not marry, because that also would mean families. It's a simple matter of economics. Families require MONEY. The more children per earning household, the less income potential for the church. Therefore, priests and nuns should not marry. And then make sex a sin. In this way you can control the earning potential of the church. Am I wrong? If I were wrong, and sex were a sin, and lead to damnation, then the majority of priests and nuns who do it amongst themselves for pleasure are damned. And YES, they are doing it for pleasure, because you can not reproduce with homosexuality, boy child molestation, etc., etc. So then why else do it, except for pleasure.
Then how the hypocrisy, those of influence persuade those of weak persuasion that sensuality, sex and sexuality to be a sin. Mankind did not invent sex, and the pleasures received and given. It is a gift of God and nature. Are they who now label it a sin saying they are wiser than God and nature? This not to say you should change your beliefs, simply don't assume I am of that weak a persuasion to accept this hypocrisy, that you do not waste your words and breath on one who enjoys all that nature has blessed me with.
