OUTDOORS
The old Kama Sutra texts talk about the physical and psychological growth that can become available to us when we break away from our normal habits of love making. When we move into nature, for example, we can mimic the birds and the bees, the lioness and her suitor or two fishes swimming side by side. The use of swings, trees, rocks, meadows and other natural supports in the out of doors can add an element of mystery and erotic excitement to the sex act. We become aware of our surroundings and thus aware of our intimacy and sexual acts when we remove ourselves from repetitive behaviors.
The human race did not begin sex and romance in a 3 bedroom brick home. Man lived wherever he happened to find food that day. Built a fire, made a few tools to hunt with, ate slept and moved on to find more meat to barbeque. Today we seem to think we have invented love, lust, passion and the art of sex. I don't believe that. I believe ancient man had exactly the same feelings, but most times was to busy in search of food to make note of that. It was simply another natural response and act. And since it was, and still should be, a natural act, he didn't write manuals on it. Today, the idea of sex outdoors is considered in most areas of the so called civilized world a crime if someone happens to see you in the act in the midst of some intimate bushes. In prehistoric times, the intruder would excuse himself or herself for intruding and go about their way. The human race began close to and as a part of nature, and the natural elements. Today we tend to isolate ourselves from it.
