Having it Her way

The Lady wants it her way . . .by mdg._

Some time ago, her name was T
Such a short dress she wore,
Laced, translucent, against the light
Thighs, hips, curves in pastel shadows
Sway in slow steady motion
Breasts outlined, turned to the night
Hint of pert nipples aroused
Through shadow and light,
I see hints of all her treasures
A walk as a rolling wave
Behind my back, not a glance
Reflections in the mirror, sublime
through all the glasses, bottles of wine
I see her pass, a flutter in her hip
Can't help but wonder, or think
Was it her heels, or for me a wink,
A slow, smooth slide onto the stool
Sensual deliberate crossed legs,
Her shoe, it dangles from her toe
the subtle tease, who is her desire,
Breasts squarely to the bar,
drink slid slowly to her hand,
Long slow sip, made me drool,
Sheer skirt, flows down her thigh,
this brandy tastes the more like lust,
My pen now freely glides, write I must
To paint this scene with meager words
The barman knows, I've sat, here before,
He says my words do more than imply,
The scent of her perfume, so close it seems
It clouds my thoughts, this voice I hear,
“the barman said you'd let me read,”
a brush of hair, such a soft subtle scent
along my cheeks, she leaned across
at my shoulder, assumed and peeked,
“and no, it was not my heels, as you wrote”
then softly swayed back to her stool,
I have painted this passage with my words,
The final lines came as a note,
From the lady at the far end of the bar,
“will we waste an evening this far apart?”
“or can we say, this is a nice start ?”
